I, too, found the production of "Waiting for Godot" to be "tedious;" as audience members/participant/observers, we, too, were all "waiting..." for what, I never did figure out... which was, I suppose, the bizarre point. It occurred to me that there are numerous, unaccounted-for swathes of time within a lifetime that we waste in waiting and keeping others waiting...what a common yet taken-for-granted element! Even so, there were bright spots, especially in the intriguing dichotomies which "Lucky" presented; the others being predictable. It is apparent that the supporting cast has worked diligently to revive a classic narrative with contemporary parallels.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
